Rules Q&A
Court of Grace
Enchantment
When Court of Grace enters the battlefield, you become the monarch.
At the beginning of your upkeep, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying. If you're the monarch, create a 4/4 white Angel token creature with flying instead.

I'd recommend taking a look at Court of Grace (in general), Court of Ardenvale (to reanimate small creatures or get sac-lands back), Myriad Landscape (because grabbing two Plains is nice), The Book of Exalted Deeds (depending on how often you're gaining 3 life on your turn) and Wojek Investigator (kind of card draw). There are other cards that fill similar roles to each of these based on your budget, these are just here to point you in a direction.
Also, why do I not see New Benalia in more mono-white decks? It's a scry land.
Looks great!

Liesa but Angels
Hey, good WIP for Angels, nice Avacyn and Tithe.
When you break it down to the very basics of what you need for Angels it's three things: Angels, ramp and draw. Angels because you want to cast/attack with Angels, ramp because you want to be able to consistently cast your higher mana cost (4+ CMC) Angels and repeatable draw because you want to keep having Angels in your hand to cast. The better Angels you want to attack with, including Liesa, have a high mana cost, without more ramp you'll have a more difficult time casting them. Consider more lower mana cost (1-3 CMC) ramp and more repeatable draw sources?
In my opinion, a good rule for casual Commander deck building is having at least 10 sources of draw and at least 10 sources of ramp, allocate deck room for these. These are the most important two effects to have for smoother gameplay. Better overall gameplay makes playing Commander more fun since you'll get less frustrated with how your deck is running. Consider cutting a few of the lesser power cards compared to other cards here for more ramp and draw?
Add:
- Exemplar of Light, Resplendent Angel, Valkyrie Harbinger, Sanctuary Warden
- Arcane Signet, Talisman of Hierarchy or Mind Stone, Orzhov Signet, Wayfarer's Bauble
- Phyrexian Arena, Court of Grace, Mask of Memory, Collector's Vault
- Skullclamp or Transmogrant's Crown
- Knight of the White Orchid with Sunlit Marsh, Palace Jailer, Midnight Reaper
- Plumb the Forbidden, Night's Whisper, Read the Bones
Cut:
- Dragon Throne of Tarkir, The Pandorica, Halo Fountain, Entreat the Angels
- Unmake, Fate Forgotten and Isildur's Fateful Strike
- Legion Angel, Serra's Guardian, Emancipation Angel, Hailstorm Valkyrie, Vengeful Reaper
- Boon-Bringer Valkyrie, Seraph of the Scales, Angelic Skirmisher
- Season of the Burrow and Season of Loss
Some land upgrades to consider that are within the budget for the manabase: Caves of Koilos, Fetid Heath, Shineshadow Snarl, Great Hall of Starnheim, Tyrite Sanctum, Vault of the Archangel, Soulstone Sanctuary, Path of Ancestry
I hope this advice is helpful and I offer more if you're interested, about the potential adds/cuts I've suggested.

Pooping Outside the Litterbox (Marisi Goad)(C)
Hello, I have an ancient Marisi deck: Cats off the Lawn! That has slowly evolved over time to be an oddball Naya enchantress deck with a little bit of aggression (because enchantress is not exactly known for that... so why not?).
Anyway, a few helpful things i've found along the way:
-
protection keyword rules - evasion & resistance to removal combines really nicely... an early version of my deck was all about that: Hexdrinker & Haktos the Unscarred were great. I'm still in love with Earnest Fellowship
-
Rabble Rousing - while good in my enchantress shell is equally good (maybe better) in a creature-spitting shell like yours. Court of Grace at least gives you an evasive creature consistently & the first card draw from monarch.
-
Bedlam is amazing. The chaos and angst it causes is worth it.. not defending anyway.
-
Crescendo of War also amazing... again, not defending anyway :)
Anyway, my meta became pretty heavy in non-combat wincons & such, or there would become this unintended sort of "screw you" minigame where players would waste a bunch of resources to workaround swing at me while they could since I put so many eggs in that one goading basket. so I eventually changed the shell to make the deck not really care about Marisi as much, but also use him (as you mentioned), as more of a strategy shiftpoint.

RiotRunner789, you are 100% correct - the quest for perfection is never complete.
I just feel a certain way about some cards for no apparent reason, and Smuggler's Share is one of those cards I just feel iffy on. I don't really have a good reason as to why - I just don't really like it for whatever reason.
I thought about Well of Lost Dreams. Honestly I kind of like it more than Dawn of Hope as you could potentially pay 1:1 instead of 2:1. However it comes with the downside of being two more mana. Honestly though thinking about it I may end up swapping the two. You might've convinced me.
As for Court of Grace, I just don't vibe with the Monarch mechanic. I don't really have a good reason as to why, I just don't. I could consider it as you're right - protecting the Monarch title is easier with a bunch of fat flying angels. I'll consider it.
As for Reconnaissance, you might've just convinced me to put it into another deck I run, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. I had been considering it for some time, but I completely forgot about the cleanup step after damage is dealt. I didn't even consider using it then, haha. Unsure about it for Giada, but definitely for Adeline.

Because you mentioned card advantage, have you considered the following?
Smuggler's Share:Anytime an opponent draws an extra card is often. Plus, the random treasure every now and then.
Well of Lost Dreams: You have Dawn of Hope and the well is similiar but has a much higher ceiling. Big beater and mana open can easily net 4+ cards.
Court of Grace: On theme and keeping the monarch is easier with a bunch of fliers. Will at least replace itself and give evasive chump blockers.
An unrelated card to card advantage would also be Reconnaissance. It's purely for combat but allows you to swing with impunity with every creature every turn. Unfavorable block? Untap and back out. It also grants pseudo vigilance since you can untap and remove from combat after damage with zero downside.
Like the deck. Honestly looks good as is but alas, we are never finished tinkering.

I have 19 creatures in play. I have Court of Grace and Epic Struggle in play. It now becomes my turn, can I order the triggers so that I win with epic struggle?
If you have Oloro, Ageless Ascetic in the command zone and have Test of Endurance in play and 48 life can you win with test of endurance?

I highly recommend the following for more consistent draw: Endless Atlas, Esper Sentinel, Archivist of Oghma, Battle Angels of Tyr, Smuggler's Share, Palace Jailer and Court of Grace.

Hi Crow-Umbra & carpecanum, I finally had time to update the deck. Thank you guys so much for your feedback. It is very much appreciated! I'll start from the top of your recommendations.
Luminarch Ascension Used to be the number 1 game winner back in the days when our playgroup started playing commander. My friend had one, I have never played one myself. This deck is THE opportunity for me to bring that nostalgia back to our commandertable. Pet card. Can't cut. You're probably right that the oppos will prevent it from getting counters, but I'm going to pop Angels out of it or die trying xD
Draw
Plumb the Forbidden for Phyrexian Arena is a great swap! In most games I find myself mainly active in my turns and quite passive during other players' turns. So next to the Black Market Connections comparison as you pointed out, Plumb has another benefit of being an instant!
Tokens
Kaya, Geist Hunter got swapped for Relic Vial. Way cooler! Court of Grace is cut for Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. I find the Monarch a very cool inclusion in a game of commander but the card is just not good enough. I think I was forcing adding a Monarch card too much. Hero of Bladehold is another great tip as a token creator. I've swapped the Hero for Vraan, Executioner Thane. Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and Leonin Warleader are both excellent options aswell, but I simply run out of cuts.
That brings me to my final part. Cathars' Crusade is awesome in this deck and I'd also like to add a Necropotence but I simply have no idea what to cut for those anymore. I think I'm already quite short on lands and I'd preferably add 1 draw spell and 2 ramp spells..
Again, thank you both for your feedback. You rock!
