Archon of Valor's Reach Discussion

ok i think that you want more than that. go for Filth to add a hidden anthem keyword giving unblockable in some cases
This is if you add and control Necrotic Ooze. Cast Buried Alive and put Pili-Pala, Palladium Myr and Walking Ballista in your graveyard. With the combination of Pili-Pala and Palladium Myr abilities, you can generate infinite mana. Use the mana to activate Walking Ballista's ability, putting infinite counters on Necrotic Ooze. Remove the counters to deal damage to any target.
then you also have Archon of Valor's Reach provides 3 keywords, but if played, or reanimated provides a strong effect
Unburial Rites is just good if you have a massive threat in graveyard, buried for the creature and you can flash it back
Dread Return is even better cuz you get the 2 cards that combo and sac 3 to win
Brisela is good too, just depend on your leaning strat
Survival of the Fittest is crazy good as well.

Earnest Fellowship is great in a multicolour-centric deck like yours. It's definitely worth including, but it will be somewhat of a nonbo with some of your targetting spells.
Supply / Demand is either a tutor or an army in a can.
Dragon Arch not only tutors, but will put the creature directly into play for you.
Archon of Valor's Reach can save you from boardwipes or spells you know your opponent might cast. Very useful to have in your deck.
Guildmages' Forum can distribute some free counters occasionally. It's not the most powerful card, but it's free value and filtering on a land.
Pillar of the Paruns is also pretty great in your manabase.
Vivid Revival seems like a great choice for card advantage in your deck, though doesn't necessarily do much when your Commander is out.
You're missing out on some multicoloured ramp creatures: Zhur-Taa Druid is such a good ramp card in multiplayer. It ends up dealing so much damage if played early. Knotvine Mystic seems to fit perfectly. You should definitely pick up a copy of Mirari's Wake.
In terms of cuts, Asmira, Holy Avenger, Bloodshot Cyclops, Gruul Spellbreaker and Conclave Cavalier seem like a good place to start. I would start by adding more ramp since this is what you're missing most.

Bring to Light may be pretty good, Fight to the Death , when revealed, serves to say "wanna make a big attack? ban plan." Flower / Flourish or Safewright Quest is good two-color mana fixing. Putrefy and Mortify are both pretty strong. Thrash / Threat is pretty all right creature removal if Niv is out. I am partial to Archon of Valor's Reach - I just like the card. Armadillo Cloak is def all right if Nivvy's your main wincon. Artifact Mutation and Aura Mutation are awesome, as is Hull Breach . I know one of my friends has a Kresh the Bloodbraided deck that would be utterly demolished by a Backlash . Bedevil is absurdly versatile removal. Blightning has a special place in my heart for taking any deck that doesn't know how to draw cards directly out of the game. Mostly a 60 cards, 20 life thing tho. Boros Charm can fizzle a removal spell, or it can make Niv into a really big meat stick. Burning-Tree Shaman and Cindervines are absolute murder for spellslinger decks. Casualties of War might help with those planeswalkers you seem to want to make disappear. Cauldron Haze is an... unconventional way to eat a removal spell. Clan Defiance is pretty all right, though it is an X spell that doesn't just kill a player directly. Countersquall is a good not- Negate , as is Dovin's Veto . Curse of Chains is a cool removal spell. Deathsprout is removal and ramp. A bit costly but Murder and Rampant Growth combined (minus one mana) is worth considering for casuals like me. Debtors' Knell can be a nice finisher.
Defiler of Souls is one of my favorite cards of all time. I just love playing colors and I like turning downsides into upsides.
Despark and Deputy of Detention (not to mention the D-Sphere itself) is pretty good removal. Destructive Revelry is pretty good removal as well. Dimir Doppelganger would fuck a reanimator deck six ways from Sunday. Divinity of Pride is a big, lifelinking threat. Djinn Illuminatus is sneakily very strong. Imagine duplicating all your removal spells as many times as you bother to pay for them. Domri's Ambush is even more good removal (this time creature removal). Dragonlair Spider is just quite good at making tokens. Dreadbore kills two relevant types. Dromoka's Command is sweet removal but not many of its other options are relevant. Dueling Grounds is Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist (or Mirri is Dueling grounds- whatever). Both are awesome pillow fort. Escape to the Wilds draws cards. The color-matters auras from Eventide and Shadowmoor are strong with Niv and also on-theme.
Fossil Find alluded to graveyard order... in a 2008 set... huh.
Identity Crisis just discards your opponent's... everything. Ionize is a pretty all right counterspell. Justice Strike , another pet card of mine, is just very a flavorful removal spell. Mindleech Mass is crazy cool. Mirari's Wake is a really conventionally strong card. Mistmeadow Witch is more expensive and more timely Soulherder (fizzles removal!). Mnemonic Betrayal is just a gem. Mystic Snake and Frilled Mystic are both counterspells. Necrogenesis makes tokens and screws up reanimation. Palliation Accord is pretty freaking pillow forty. Pillory of the Sleepless , Anguished Unmaking , and Vindicate are more solid Orzhov removal. Plasm Capture isn't great, I don't think, but it feels like a card that has some wild stories attached to it, don'tcha think? Rakdos's Return seems like another really fun spell. I want to make a RB casual Rack deck. Silumgar's Command is a good card. Thought Erasure is a perfectly suitable discard spell. Trygon Predator is good. Wheel of Sun and Moon ensures that every card in your deck is just a few Niv triggers away.
And BAM, I've looked through every two-color card in Magic. There we go. That's what stood out to me, but I find that many players are more competitive than I am and therefore have different definitions of what a good card is. Feel free to take some or none of my advice. All would likely prove disastrous for your deck- a lot of the cards I suggested were removal.

Adds: Birthing Pod (instantly), Collector Ouphe , Archon of Valor's Reach or Consecrated Sphinx for a 6 drop for yisan, Willbreaker as a 5 drop if you really want, Brushland , Forbidden Orchard , Flusterstorm and Dovin's Veto .
Cuts: regrowth, a plains, a forest, wargate, idyllic tutor, earthcraft, force of will, selvala, grand Abolisher.
Hope this helps

Love the deck! +1!
What do you think about Archetype of Endurance for protection (and also can get out the protection of the opponents' creatures)?
Also i think that Archon of Valor's Reach can be a nice on in this deck.

Have you heard of Whitemane Lion ? With Chulane it's a 2 mana repeatable instant speed growth spiral. On a similar note Stonecloaker does a similar thing however it also eats cards from graves at instant speed. If you're feeling spiky you can combine these cards with Aluren to draw your entire library and drop every land into play. It shouldn't be hard to win from there with Laboratory Maniac , Jace, Wielder of Mysteries , or even Altar of the Brood . Just remember Chulane's ability is mandatory so you'll have to remove him before you go for the win or you might draw yourself to death.
There are a few hate cards I'm surprised you haven't included like Gaddock Teeg , Remorseful Cleric , Containment Priest , Leonin Arbiter , Linvala, Keeper of Silence , Rest in Peace , Archon of Valor's Reach , and Aura Shards . The newer Ranger-Captain of Eos pulls his weight as well by grabbing dorks and accessory creatures like Giant Killer while having the ability to entirely shut down non-creature spells which is great for comboing out that turn or just preventing a board wipe from an opponent on their turn.
Simple tax effects as well give you lots of time to set up Chulane and start slamming creatures down for some great value. Cards like Aura of Silence , Thalia, Guardian of Thraben , Vryn Wingmare , Thorn of Amethyst , Suppression Field , Kataki, War's Wage , Energy Flux , etc.
I think flash is the greatest strength a creature based deck can have so I suggest trying out Vivien, Champion of the Wilds , Vedalken Orrery , Leyline of Anticipation , or Yeva, Nature's Herald to go alongside your Teferi.
Lastly you should include Eternal Witness as some grave recursion and you can abuse the body via bonce or Sun Titan.

Thanks for the feedback Suffer. I really like your suggestions of Charming Prince and Spellseeker . I think i'm going to switch out 2 of my creatures for those 2. As for Archon of Valor's Reach and Gulf Squid , I think, while powerful, are not the direction I want to take.

This is a very focused and streamlined tempo list. Only one card sticks out as weak: Wall of Blossoms. My suggestions for an upgrade would be: Charming Prince , Spellseeker , Archon of Valor's Reach or Gulf Squid .
