Bantchantments

Why Tuvasa?

When I first saw the Commander 2018 decks, I was initially underwhelmed, like most people. Lord Windgrace would have been amazing if the deck came with actual lands-matter cards. Besides that, the most coherent theme was Estrid, and I already was collecting cards to make an enchantress deck so it worked out well.

Estrid herself was okay, but Tuvasa really caught my eye. A enchantress in the command zone? Yes please! This deck I want to base more on her triggered ability than her static ability.

Deck Building

We technically have six enchantresses to play (when you cast an enchantment spell, draw a card): Argothian Enchantress, Verduran Enchantress, Mesa Enchantress, Satyr Enchanter, Eidolon of Blossoms, and Enchantress's Presence. With Tuvasa, this number increases to seven total. These creatures are all very important, as they help draw cards to make follow-up plays or recover.

As far as enchantments go, I chose the best ones within my budget range (<$15 a card), so the selection is always improving as time goes on.

Philosophy

My playgroup's philosophy is no infinite combos that are consistent (e.g. High Tide + Palinchron , so I choose to not put in any of such combos in this deck. Any other means of winning are fine, and I am trying to fit in Azor's Elocutors as another means of winning due to how naturally this deck is able to pillowfort up.

Budget

A majority of this decks cards will be under $15, but I am open to any more expensive cards to buy if I ever want to splurge. My goal is to eventually have a Greater Auramancy for this deck.

Will all the natural draw power this deck has with its enchantresses, Approach of the Second Sun is a welcome addition as a win condition. Once you have a couple locks down, Starfield of Nyx/Sigil of the Empty Throne beatdown is usually the way to go!
