Hey, welcome to TappedOut. Good start and version of Tuvasa, nice Sylvan Library.

You're deck doesn't have a Commander yet. In the deck editor add the CMDR tag to Tuvasa the Sunlit text.

1x Tuvasa the Sunlit *CMDR*

When you save and return to the deck Tuvasa will be the Commander, in it's own category and have a card image.

Ethereal Armor, Aqueous Form, Flickering Ward, Rancor are some one drop auras to consider adding. Ward is nice because you can bounce it to cast again and the color protection you choose doesn't cause auras of that color that are enchanted to the creature to be destroyed. That's an errata that's been made to original printing of the card. Sigarda's Aid is another powerful one drop enchantment that gives auras flash; very good with Flickering Ward. Shield of the Oversoul, Steel of the Godhead and Favor of the Overbeing are more auras to consider adding since they give Tuvasa +2/+2 and two other abilities, one is evasion.

Setessan Champion is a good Enchantress because it grows in power and also triggers not on cast, but when an enchantment you control ETB. Grasp of Fate is powerful removal in multiplayer Commander; a supercharged Oblivion Ring. Robe of Stars phases and phasing is powerful with auras because when you phase out auras they return attached to the creature unaffected when they phase back in at your next untap step. Robe can be repeatable protection from anything for Tuvasa and all auras that are attached to her.

Some changes to consider:

Good luck with your deck.

Hey, for a first Commander deck very nice budget version of Tuvasa.

Robe of Stars is from new Aura of Courage Commander precon and it's powerful repeatable protection for Tuvasa and all auras that are attached to her. Mantle of the Ancients is also in that precon and it's a way to reanimate all your auras while also pumping Tuvasa. Open the Armory is a budget aura tutor or it can could get Robe. Moon-Blessed Cleric is a budget enchantment tutor from Adventures of Forgotten Realms.

Setessan Champion is an upgrade for an enchantress. Alpha Authority can protect Tuvasa from opponents targeting with hexproof, but still lets you target her to keep enchanting her and it also gives menace which combined with how big Tuvasa can get is good evasion for her. Favor of the Overbeing gives flying evasion and vigilance letting Tuvasa be an attacker as well as a blocker. Seal of Primordium is an upgrade for Reclamation Sage since it's an enchantment that you can sac right away or at instant speed later.

Consider some budget manabase improvements? The manabase looks neglected compared to the rest of your deck. 26 basic lands is a lot for three colors and except for Command Tower all the other dual lands here ETB tapped. Some lands to consider adding in place of some basic lands, Tranquil Expanse, Woodland Stream and Meandering River:

The Tango lands and Reveal lands have interaction with basic lands to ETB untapped. Could also consider cutting a few lands in place of some more ramp/color fixing that has interaction with Tuvasa. Wild Growth, Abundant Growth and Wolfwillow Haven.

Good luck with your deck.

Earthcraft , Altar of the Brood , Eternal Witness , Setessan Champion , Eidolon of Blossoms and more cards with the Opalwave combo can go off too, as the combo can cause infinite etbs and flickers of other non-aura enchantments and creatures.

Earthcraft on its own is insanely powerful, and Opalescence makes it even better, Squirrel Nest goes infinite creatures, and cards like Altar of the Brood go infinite mill with that.

SynergyBuild Huh, I've never seen that combo before. Interesting. So you abuse the stack to pretty much exile every creature you want to? That should be rather fun. I'll look into it.

As for the Satyr Enchanter , this is gonna sound weird; he was in the deck but I dropped him for Verduran Enchantress because I wanted the 'may' ability rather than the 'must' ability. I know Setessan Champion and Sythis herself are 'must' abilities, but Setessan offers a tad more than the Satyr does in buffing itself and Sythis is, well, the commander. Can't do much about her.

Liszt on ETB Triggers

Let's say I control Setessan Champion and my Opponent controls Spirit of the Labyrinth . Into this boardstate I now cast a On Thin Ice . Can I stack the triggers so that the Ice resolves before the triggered ability of the Champion and I thus get to draw a card?

Working on the card draw and acquisition:

Sram, Senior Edificer

Kor Spiritdancer

Argothian Enchantress

Season of Growth

Setessan Champion

Armored Skyhunter

Siona, Captain of the Pyleas

End game requires consideration of going going long or wide:

If wide, switch commander to Siona, Captain of the Pyleas and include cards like Shielded by Faith, Gift of Immortality, Flickering Ward, Spirit Loop, Rancor, Fortitude, Whip Silk,Auratog, Thaumatog.

If long, add better protection enchantments. Suggestions include, Holy Mantle, Alseid of Life's Bounty, Spirit Mantle, Gift of Immortality, Umbra Mystic, Unquestioned Authority, Spectra Ward.

Siona would be my push because she adds combo lethality. Sythis is just a great 99 imo.

Shouldn’t forget, All That Glitters, Shield of the Oversoul, Gryff's Boon, Helm of the Gods, and Ancestral Mask

AkaAkuma on Tayam's Fun and Interactive Combos!

Hey BransBranflakes, I like the list! Thanks for the inspiration.

I play Tayam in the 98 with Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Reyhan, Last of the Abzan at the helm. But Tayam is so synergistic in there that i want to put him into the spotlight with his own deck.

But the further i read on Tayam, the more bland he becomes with the same infinite combos between Ashnod's Altar and various creatures you noted (and Weaponcraft Enthusiast ). What is your experience on the diversity of Tayam and people who play against it? Is it the same song and dance with this commander every game, or can you win on different matters?

The ability got me with so many ideas.. I mean its nothing like Karador! First I was thinking of going tokens with a sacrifice subtheme. I could use Teysa, Orzhov Scion that can also create white tokens from the black tokens that e.g. Dreadhorde Invasion or Ophiomancer create. It will be an endless loop!.. Or landfall, as Tayam can make some cool land recurring triggers using Evolution Sage , Felidar Retreat and many more landfall critters. He also makes a cool Abzan coloured Enchantress (recurring Animate Dead or Pernicious Deed while drawing cards from Setessan Champion and enchantresses alike and even a Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons subtheme sounds good, where Ammit Eternal , Devoted Druid and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician are great inclusions.

While I suppose we could run it and hope, we blank a lot of control by going as thin on creatures as is feasible. Same reason we didn’t jam Setessan Champion but will play Enchantress's Presence . Sythis, Harvest's Hand is just as vulnerable but relevant in way more match ups. I know you’re mentioning it as a sideboard piece. Maybe worth testing as you can activate in response to removal but you need a lot of mana up. I’m just too iffy on it.
