Play knights, play equipment, play Gwyn, equip for free and swing for profit. Goldfishing has shown me that it's better to have cheaper knights and slightly more equipment than knights. It's better to have 3 equipment cards in hand and no knights than to to have 3 knights and no equipment because Gwyn is always available to hold a sword, but the knights are extremely underpowered when they don't have equipment to play with.
