I'd been trying to create a hyper-group-hug deck with both Phelddagrif and Zedruu the Greathearted , under Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis . I felt like it was trying to do too much, but I love me some happy hippo and givee goat, so I decided to split them back into two different decks that could stand on their own.

This version of my Zedruu the Greathearted deck is a political enchanter build. The idea is play enchantments that grant removal (like Oblivion Ring ) and group hug effects (like Dictate of Kruphix ) that you can pass control of after they are played without any negatives. Token generation becomes an alternate theme, as you can easily pass a few 1/1s (or better yet, 0/1s) to your opponents with little consequence, or provide them as political fodder when it matters.

There are a lot of win conditions, but they all require a bit of creativity to make them work. Myth Realized and Sigil of the Empty Throne give you some weird ways to generate value over time. An unchecked Assemble the Legion can get out of control. Aetherflux Reservoir and Felidar Sovereign reward your potential life gain. Approach of the Second Sun and Celestial Convergence put a visible counter on the end of the game.
