So, after one year of playing and a hiatus since Zendikar, I recently discovered the commander format with the pre-build packs Commander 2017. Bought the Vampire Bloodlust with daddy Markov and have fun with him during couple of games. But now I get the urge to try to construct my own set from those foundation.

But I don't know s*** from how to correctly balance a deck when building it. How many lands, creatures, enchants, Wrath of Gods and other shiny cards to put in it depending to what I want to do with my pack.So here is my first example with some pretty low description of what I tried to achieve with this build because I don't know many of type of gameplay other than # Maximum Creatures & Maximum Health => The Win #

I've chosen to play with Edgar Markov in the role of the paternalistic Commander. My strategy is simple: put low-cost Vampires on the field to get Tokens to expand the family. Use buffer like Rakish Heir, Drana, Liberator of Malakir or Blade of the Bloodchief to empower them. Take care of the sibling new members with enchants like Anointed Procession or Intangible Virtue. And more importantly draw a maximum to new creatures to stay plentiful at the family meetings, using Alhammarret's Archive, Vanquisher's Banner and other. I also tried to add 2 combos with Sanguine Bond / Exquisite Blood and Bloodchief Ascension / Mindcrank.

The big question is: does it really work against an opponent? Didn't take the time to test it lately, and I'm wondering if, regardless the fact that I've choosen the cards without a global sight, my build still balanced.Could you advice me on this topic in the comments?
