Do you enjoy card advantage? Do you like bleeding out the whole table without giving them options on how to do anything? Is your favorite win a death by a thousand cuts? Oh boy, do I have a deck for you.

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow has long been my favorite commander, ever since she was originally released in the Commander 2018 set. She's fast, she encourages a tribal strategy, she cheats the commander cost and she encourages a low to the ground, creature-based deck. On top of that, she grants you card advantage while simultaneously draining your opponents for each nonland card you draw, like a reverse Dark Confidant or Ad Nauseaum that forces your opponents to pay for your gains.

This deck started out casual but slowly got more and more competitive as time wore on, which is why you'll see a few less-than-optimal creatures or equipment and such. With a few new ninjas popping up out of the new modern horizon set, I figured it was about time that I bit the bullet and fully optimized this deck.

The deck list is subject to change, but the theme remains the same: get out a few early creatures, slow the game down with stax outlets, and then whittle your opponents away while you dig for your combo.

This deck is probably considered about 75% power-level, so don't expect it to win many hyper-aggressive matchups against Tymna/Thrasios or Gitrog Monster decks. This deck functions best against slower, combo-control oriented matchups, by being one of the only decks to fully take advantage of the combat step and make our opponents regret it.
