I've been playing Commander for 10+ years now! I truly believe it's the greatest game ever invented. This is my BIG FUN Value Mono Black Deck. This deck is loaded with mana ramp, card draw, and OLD SCHOOL combos that are long forgotten. Some of the "combos" cost a lot but are super fun to play. That's the point of this deck. Not to keep up with the times but to remind these youngsters what old school BIG FUN commander is like. The way it was originally designed. I miss the days when games played out to turn 10+ more often. This deck has the potential to win quickly, but is built for the long game. It wins around turn 10 on average in a 4 player game. Depends on how much control is coming my way. Your main win cons will be listed in depth below with the card link but here is a quick summary: Recurring Gray or Kokusho over and over, Exsanguinate or Sorin in combination with Wound Reflection, and as a last resort the Mike/Trik combo! ;)

Infinite Combo's

-There's only one infinite combo in the entire deck. Its the classic Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion combo.

Game Changing/Game Winning Combo's

-First thing's first, Diabolic Revelation + mana ramp = BIG FUN!

-Using at least a couple of the 11 different forms of ramp I have in this deck, you can easily hit 20-30 mana by turn 7 or 8. At this point (Assuming you have a bunch of mana), you can cast one of the following 3 cards + Wound Reflection (Be sure to play Wound Reflection AFTER playing one of the following cards so they don't see it coming) to win: Sorin Markov (Using his -3), Temporal Extortion (Assuming they pay half their life), or Exsanguinate.

-Recurring Gray Merchant of Asphodel over and over is another easy wincon

-Another classic combo is Sheoldred, Whispering One and Grave Betrayal BIG FUN FAVORITE!

-A few ways to easily double your zombie tokems is to sacrifice all of them to Fallen Angel Nantuko Husk Phyrexian Ghoul Vampire Aristocrat or Bloodthrone Vampire and then sacrifice one of these to Gisa!

-This last sequence is simple to do, but hard to explain. I'll try my best! With Dictate of Erebos, Butcher of Malakir, Vindictive Lich, and Kokusho, the Evening Star on the field, play Phyrexian Dreadnought. In a single turn you will pay 1 mana to have your opponents sacrifice a total of 6 creatures + 1 more for that guy you don't like, drain them all of 5 life + 5 more for that guy you don't like again, you gain the life lost(Hopefully around 20), someone discards 2 cards, and you get a 12/12. You also can easily use your commander to pay 1 mana, sac the 12/12 and get 12 2/2 zombie tokens to throw out next turn. Thsi combo works with several different creatures in the deck, but this is my favorite. AND with multiple forms of recursion in this deck, you'll be able to do it multiple times.

-There are several other cards that have really good ETB effects, because of all the recursion in the deck.

This deck has a really good record in my play group so far, but I'm always open to suggestions. If you really liked this deck, you'll love my spell-slinger lands deck! Check it out:
