Notable Combos

Combo 1:

Scion of the Ur-Dragon+Rivaz of the Claw+Bladewing the Risen+Dragon Tempest/Scourge of Valkas/Terror of the Peaks

1) Have both Scion of the Ur-Dragon and Rivaz of the Claw on the battlefield.

2) Activate Scion of the Ur-Dragon, making it a copy of Bladewing the Risen by putting Bladewing in the graveyard

3) Cast Bladewing, the Risen from the graveyard using Rivaz's ability.

4) Bladewing returns to the battlefield with the exile clause from Rivaz's ability and Scion is currently a copy.

5) Legend Rule applies as a State-Based Action. Select the original Bladewing to go to the graveyard.

6) The exile clause from before as well as the ETB ability from the original Bladewing are put onto the stack. Order the stack such that the ETB trigger resolves first followed by the exile clause.

*Note that the exile clause is a triggered ability and can, thus, be responded to with other triggers, which is why this loop works.

7) Repeat steps 4-6 infinitely; Dragon Tempest/Scourge of Valkas/Terror of the peaks Deal Infinite Damage via Bladewing ETB

*Note that the exile clause will not exist on future loops because Bladewing would have not been cast from the graveyard, but rather would be returned from the graveyard to the battlefield via its own ETB ability

This combo can work in similar loops with most graveyard recursion spells

Combo 2:

Scion of the Ur-Dragon + Moltensteel Dragon + Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon

1) Attack with Scion of the Ur-Dragon

2) Before combat damage is dealt, activate Scion twice, searching for 1) Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, and, in response to the first activation, 2) Moltensteel Dragon

3) Let Scion become Moltensteel Dragon. In response to the 1st activated ability of Scion, activate scion's ability it obtained from Moltensteel Dragon giving the creature +6/+0

4) Let the 1st activated ability of scion resolve, turning it into Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon

You now have a 10/4 Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, deal 10 infect for the win

*This combo can use any graveyard recursion in place of Teneb (i.e. Unburial Rites) and most clone effects for Scion if Bladewing is on the Battlefield

Combo 3:

Old Gnawbone/Ancient Copper Dragon + Hellkite Charger

1) Attack with Hellkite Charger (and at least 2 other power of creatures)

2) Pay 7 mana for Hellkite Charger's Ability, gain another untap step and combat phase

3) On combat damage, gain 7 treasure from Old Gnawbone's/Ancient Copper Dragon's trigger (with a high enough dice roll)

4) Untap your creatures and enter the next combat phase, repeat from step 1 for infinite combat damage

Combo 4:

The Ur-Dragon + Mirari's Wake + Atarka, World Render

Have all of the cards on the battlefield. Ur-dragon will deal 22 commander damage during combat
