The partner pair of Eligeth, Crossroads Augur and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces won MTG Burgeoning's Tournament of Partners, a months-long odyssey that pitted 16 randomly assigned pairs of legendary partners against each other in a bracketed single-elimination Tournament. The MTG Burgeoning Community voted during each contest, and the last pair standing was Eligeth, Crossroads Augur and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. As the inaugural winners of the Tournament of Partners, an EDH deck was sculpted around the winning partners. See below how the initial components of this deck were crafted and how it has evolved since.

This mono-blue partner deck makes its first appearance on MTG Burgeoning's UP & UP Series as we UPdate and UPgrade this Eligeth, Crossroads Augur & Sakashima of a Thousand Faces EDH deck. Here, we begin overturning the 98 of this deck to enhance its...BLUEness. Check-out the video:

Into the 98:

An Offer You Can't Refuse

In the following YouTube video, MTG Burgeoning adds this Eligeth, Crossroads Augur & Sakashima of a Thousand Faces partner EDH deck into the Burgeoning Commander Catalog by showcasing it as a full deck tech:

In the following YouTube video, MTG Burgeoning UPdates & UPgrades this partner deck via an appearance on the channels' UP & UP Series:

Show and Tell replaces Resculpt.

Bribery replaces Murmuring Mystic.

Expropriate replaces Spectral Deluge.

Throne of Eldraine replaces Tolarian Winds.

Jin-Gitaxias   replaces Windrider Wizard.

Enter the Infinite replaces Occult Epiphany.

Mana Crypt and Jeweled Lotus were banned in Commander effective September 23rd, 2024. These cards are being replaced by Everflowing Chalice and Unstable Obelisk at this time.

In the following YouTube video, MTG Burgeoning UPdates & UPgrades this partner EDH deck via an appearance on the channel's UP & UP Series:

Mystical Tutor replaces Mazemind Tome.

Flare of Denial replaces Thwart.

Emrakul, the World Anew replaces Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre.

Twenty-Toed Toad replaces Talrand, Sky Summoner.

Unfortunately, there is no video depicting the reasoning for replacing Emrakul, the World Anew with Emrakul, the Promised End. The reality is that Emmy 3.0 was needed more in another build, Emmy 2.0 was a more-than-reasonable and available replacement, and MTG Burgeoning didn't want to use liquidity on acquiring an additional copy of the World Anew. And that's the waaaaay the news goes.
