!!February 2022 UPDATE!! —- Thanks to prerelease weekend for Kamigawa Neon Dynasty, I now have all the new ninjas I was hoping for! Made some room for those and also lightened the flicker package a bit to make way for a bit more interaction as well as some added protection from crackbacks after swinging in —-

This deck is about aggressive value and ninjas, and is a revamp of my original Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow ninja tribal deck with an Esper twist. The idea is to play evasive low-cost creatures, some with ETBs, to help enable ninjutsu. Landing hits with our ninjas not only gives us their own combat damage triggers, but also triggers Tymna's ability. With Sakashima, we can clone Tymna and get double the value! But Sakashima doesn't limit himself to just that. He can clone powerhouses like Yuriko or The Scarab God to really put the pressure on as well. With his legend rule cancelling ability, we can also take advantage of things like Blade of Selves or Scarab God's zombie clone tokens, and since the BoS's myriad tokens go away at the end of turn anyway you can also use them for ninjutsu to swap in a permanent creature. Having access to white removal, Smothering Tithe, and Teferi's Protection is also very useful. If we want to change up what Sakashima is cloning, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and Brago, King Eternal are here to help. Thassa also gives us the option to tap things down strategically while Brago’s multi-flicker basically gives our attacking ninjas pseudo-vigilance as long as he hits someone.
