OH, The Places You Will Go! - LANDFALL FOCUSED V1.1 7/13/24

I feel like I've been in my bag as a deck builder the last few months, and wanted to keep the momentum going strong with another weird-ish commander project. I love the idea of this lil' guy causing chaotic panic in the game with all the landfall triggers he will enable. How could you not love a tiny frog named Flubs, and I happen to LOVE the Persona series who make it a point to make the protagonist a user of the fool arcana. I'm going to overload the land base, and capitalize on effects from landfall triggers in the early to mid-game, and launch a relentless fatty attack in the endgame.

COMBOS / INTERACTIONS:

Gruul Turf + Kodama of the East Tree = Infinite Landfall Triggers | Kodama of the East Tree needs to be in play, and Gruul Turf needs to be in hand, simply use one of your land plays to put Gruul Turf onto the battlefield, then, targeting itself bounce it back to hand, when Gruul Turf entered the battlefield this will trigger Kodama and allow you to play Gruul Turf again, and again and again, the only way to break the loop is to play a non-bounce land. However, if you have a landfall trigger those triggers will proc one by one, killing opponents (Spitfire Lagac) or creating infinite tokens (Scute Swarm).

Simic Growth Chamber is also available in this decklist and can be substituted with Gruul Turf.

Cryptolith Rite + Horseshoe Crab = Crab Rave Party | This one is just a silly meme I found on the internet, and I have the colors to do it (also Flubs seems like the type of commander to have this type of silliness). Essentially, Cryptolith Rite will allow you to tap any creatures to generate a mana of any color. Horseshoe Crab will allow you to pay one blue mana to untap it, allowing you to infinitely make the Horseshoe Crab wiggle, creating a Crab Rave Party that does... nothing.

You could theoretically throw a Wake Thrasher/Thud in there to have a HUGE creature to hit someone with, and then take out another on the post-combat main phase but... meh.
