I’m not a fan of combo decks, but Animar seemed too fun not to build around, so I used him to make a big fun stompy deck! It’s susceptible to board wipes, but otherwise gets out of hand fairly quickly. The best part is, as I learned during one memorable game where I couldn’t get rid of a hexproof Suncleanser that neutered Animar by preventing him from gaining any counters, is the deck still functions fairly well without its commander! At its heart, this is a creatures-matter deck with a +1/+1 subtheme, and Animar just cranks it up to 11.

I love this deck, but I would always appreciate feedback on how I can make it even better.
