HarbingerJK has a thread going about planeswalkers, and used the amusing name "Jace, the Car Payment" for Jace, the Mind Sculptor . I laughed out loud at work and now everyone's staring at me...
...anyway, I was wondering what other card nicknames people use.
My personal favorite is "Swiss Army Myr" for Myr Adapter .

I call Spin Engine "The Spingine" because I think the little guy is freaking awesome and deserves a cool-ass nickname. And he's beaten me all on his own before, that confused the bejeezus out of me let me tell you.

Also, one of the control players at my LGS calls Blind Obedience "F*ck your hasty aggro deck"....he has...Anger issues.

Also when my friends and I use Think Twice we refer to each casting instance as thinking once (for out of hand) or thinking twice (for flashback).

We all know that Bob is only one card ( Dark Confidant ). That seems to be the only invitational card that everyone agrees should have a nickname of the player depicted.
However, I still call Ranger of Eos "Antoine" because it's fun to say "Antoine".
There's a player in my EDH group that likes to call Sheoldred, Whispering One "Shelly". I've also heard her called "Sheldon".
I also enjoy calling Obzedat, Ghost Council "Bill Cosby". Older players will know what I mean.

Whenever my playgroup uses multiple One Thousand Lashes we always add on with Two Thousand Lashes and so on. Another one is for Syndic of Tithes , which we call SynDick of Tities
