Ever since being spoiled The Scarab God screamed to me as my commander, being a Dimir player at heart. Control being my favourite game plan in magic seemed to suit this card so much, as does my second favourite play style Reanimator. (Which seems to go hand in hand!)

I am looking for any suggestions to help make the deck as competitive (without losing the control feel) as possible! I am looking into getting an Underground Sea so budget is not really an issue, it just may take some budgeting to get the cards. Main win conditions involve recurring creatures I counter or destroy repeatedly, or reanimating my own Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur or Grave Titan. Exsanguinate serves as a great win condition as well, although I have always been contemplating cutting the Crucible of Worlds and Expedition Map which would lead me to cut Cabal Coffers as well. I just am not sure as to how worth it that combo is outside of mono black.
