I previously was running a Leovold, Emissary of Trest deck in my Commander playgroup (Not entirely degenerate, mind you!). And with his ban, I needed a quick substitute that could still allow me to run the same win conditions I had previously taken advantage of. The quick fix is Tasigur, the Golden Fang and with some minor tweaks, I've made a decent mid-tier EDH deck.
