Creature (1)

So . . . you want to know how I survived on Tarkir when everything else went to shit? It's because of my list of rules:

Rule #1 for surviving Tarkir: Cardio

The ones who can't keep up are the ones that get eaten first. So getting ahead of the competition and maintaining your dominion are super important. Here's how we do it:

Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Explosive Vegetation, Ranger's Path , Exploration, Blighted Woodland, Myriad Landscape, Sol Ring, Gilded Lotus , Hedron Archive - Green's traditional ramp cards combined with some ramping artifacts puts you well ahead of the game. Getting a good running start can help you start pummeling your opponents into the dust. Which brings me to my next rule.

Rule #2: Double Tap

As the game goes on and the chaos grows, its not enough to be fast on your feet. You've gotta start hitting things REALLY hard. For when your not sure whether or not your opponent is really DEAD dead, don't be stingy with your dragons; one more solid attack to the face and you could avoid being a human happy meal. Atarka, World Render solves that problem by giving all our dragons double strike. Double the damage means double the fun.
