With the spoiler of commander 2017 I figured I'd try my hand at Ramos, Dragon Engine deck. Most deck tech that I've seen with Ramos so far at that of either full 1/1 counters to beef Ramos up or through storm. While I like the idea of storm with Ramos I just couldn't help but like the idea of going cascade with him even more. So here I present you the cascade version of Ramos.

How is Cascading going to let us win? Well since cascade allows us to CAST the xiled card with Ramos out, that means we get multiple instances for getting 1/1 counters onto Ramos. We can then use those counters to get as much mana as we can. Sadly we can only do this once per turn with Ramos out. But wait every time he is blinked or flickered that is a new version of Ramos and we can get more 1/1 counters out of him. All this can easily be done as a response to an upcoming cascade (depending on if you have the counter already) to maximize the benefits of getting counters onto Ramos. So what can we get with getting free spells and free counters onto Ramos. Well we can swing away with a massive flying dragon which in my play testing has been able to get enough counters to deal lethal commander damage by turn 5 or 6 (sometimes later) and yet we still have enough resources through our cascades to death with any potential threat we may face later.

Some of the fun combos in this deck: Rashmi, Eternities Crafter + Mind's Dilation get to cast your opponents spells and potentially get a free one for yourself on your opponents turn netting even more counters for Ramos and just imagine if you get a cascade on this effect!!! If we have either Vedalken Orrery or Leyline of Anticipation out we can use those counters right away to cast whatever is in our hand on our opponents turn getting even he counters and making a really scary dragon for your next combat.

Ramos with 5 1/1 counters and Conflux basically get to play whatever you want and get as many counters for ramos as you want if you use this ability right with a flicker effect

Forgotten Ancient Vorel of the Hull Clade do I hear give ramos a ton of counters so we can get free mana? yes I think I do. Thanks guys for letting us play out our hands easily.

Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder and Whispersilk Cloak giving all the cards in our hand cascade just gives us a ton of free coutners for Ramos and wo knows you might even get a wheel effect which will allow a brand new hand and even more options to abuse Ramos' mana ramp.

As you can see this deck is able to do some disgusting things and quite a short time frame. However, it can also be stopped dead in it's tracks with enough targeted hate and even with dead draws. So Any suggestions would be appreciated to help improve this early build of Ramos. Feel free to ask questions and I will explain my rational for some of the choices in this build.
