The focus of this deck is to force everyone to draw lots of cards. Then force everyone to discard those cards. Draw cards, you take damage. Discard card, you take damage. Meanwhile, I'm making sure that the battle field doesn't get too cluttered.

Damage from Draw

There are several cards in here that cause opponents damage when they draw cards. You only need one of these guys on the field to start the cascade: Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Kederekt Parasite, Spiteful Visions, Fate Unraveler, Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, Underworld Dreams, Psychosis Crawler

Damage from Discarding

There aren't many of these cards in here, but with the amount of card draw in this deck, I usually have no issue finding one: Liliana's Caress, Megrim

Forcing the Draw/Discard

This is where the real fun of this deck occurs. Ideally, there will be a damage-draw card like Nekusar, the Mindrazer and a discard-damage card like Megrim on the battlefield, but you really only need one. These cards for everyone to either discard or shuffle their hands and then draw a bunch: Whispering Madness, Whirlpool Warrior, Reforge the Soul, Jace's Archivist, Molten Psyche, Time Reversal, Windfall, Incendiary Command

Jace's Archivist + Megrim + Nekusar, the Mindrazer . I have easily done 30 damage in one turn with this combo.

Some Utility

These cards capitalize on all the things being discard into the graveyard and all the damage being done this way: Waste Not, Profane Memento, Exquisite Blood

There are also a handful of board-wipes to ensure that my opponent cant control the battlefield while the draw-discard combos whittle away their health: Black Sun's Zenith, Bonfire of the Damned, Necromantic Selection
