Ever wanted to make your oppoents worried to play their own creatures? Cause every time I've tested this deck out that's what basically happens. The lovely Rubinia Soulsinger is the commander I chose for this deck, though I did make a Merieke Ri Berit EDH deck that revolves a little more around stuff dying. Here's some combos and things that I do with the deck to either help me win, shut other people down, or both:

• A good way to annoy people (at least how I've notice when i play this deck) is to make it so Rubinia Soulsinger can untap and retap multiple times a turn. Seedborn Muse, Quest for Renewal, and Murkfiend Liege are good starts to this because you can let you untap during each opponents turns to take stuff from them. Freed from the Real, Retreat to Coralhelm, Burst of Energy, Umbral Mantle, Tideforce Elemental, and Aphetto Alchemist all can help untap her.

• Want to get more bang for you buck when tapping Rubinia? Use cards like: Illusionist's Bracers, Strionic Resonator, and Rings of Brighthearth make it so she can take more than one creature. Thousand-Year Elixir will not only help untap her but will also let you tap her as soon as she comes out. Titania's Song will make it so rubinia can steal artifacts as well

• People will try to destroy Rubinia to try stopping you from taking their creatures. So cards like Swiftfoot Boots, Lightning Greaves, Adarkar Valkyrie, and Scion of Oona can help protect her.

• Rubinia isn't the only thing that can help steal things. Sower of Temptation, Thalakos Deceiver, Roil Elemental, Helm of Possession, Memnarch, Empress Galina, and Beguiler of Wills all can steal creatures. Quicksilver Elemental can copy any of their abilities to steal things as well. Have a non-legendary creatures that can steal stuff out? Progenitor Mimic can help to make a gross combo. If you happen to have Roil Elemental and Perilous Forays with a good amount of open mana and you'll be able to take a decent number of creatures and get extra land as well.

• Now that you've stolen every creature that isn't yours off that battlefield, what are you going to do with all of them? sacrificing them is a good first choice. sac to Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, or Perilous Forays to help with mana. sac to Jalira, Master Polymorphist, Proteus Staff, Birthing Pod, or Evolutionary Leap to help get more of your own creatures out. sac to Altar of Dementia, Mercy Killing, and Blasting Station to mess with your opponents. And if you're sacrificing a lot of creatures Rubinia Soulsinger + Thornbite Staff will provide a gross combo.

• But what if sacrificing all those creatures you took isn't your thing? what if you would rather keep them all for youself? Thankfully you can. Conjurer's Closet, Cold Storage, and Synod Sanctum will let you take creatures and save them up just to return them permenantly to you. How? It's all in the wording. They say "creatures you control" not "creatures you own", and they return to you the controller, not the owner. Nephalia Smuggler, Restoration Angel, Cloudshift, and Ghostly Flicker work in a similar way because they return to your control, NOT the owners of the cards. Now you can steal and keep multiple creatures without keeping rubinia tapped. Adarkar Valkyrie will bring opponents creatures you steal and sacrifice back to your battlefield.

• Please keep in mind there is a flicker card Venser, the Sojourner in the deck. they do not work for the combos mentioned in the section above, but they do help with taking creatures out of play and bring them back to avoid opponents from destroying them with.
