Grand Arbiter Augustin IV STAX! Nice lands you got there, it'd be a shame if something happened to them.......

My general game plan is to play mana rocks to get ahead early then try to dig for one of my STAX locks. The tax effects, counters, and wraths keep me ahead and alive while I draw a bunch of cards and try to lock all of my opponents out of the game

Return my STAX elements to my hand
Vedalken Mastermind + Winter Orb
Static Orb + Vedalken Mastermind

All of these combos work with Capsize substituted for Mastermind

Kismet and Frozen AEther keep my opponents helpless once they're stuck in a lock

Enlightened Tutor and Muddle the Mixture allow me to tutor my STAX pieces out

Blow up all of the lands
Armageddon and Catastrophe are some of my favorite cards. I run so many mana rocks so killing all lands almost always hurts my opponent more than me. And if I already have some of my tax effects out they'll have trouble doing anything after their lands are gone.....
And if I can't blow them up just messing with then will do! Shimmer
I have a relatively low mana cure, so I can operate pretty well with only 3-4 mana available.

Blow up all of the Creatures
The deck is pretty creature light, so wraths like Supreme Verdict are pretty much asymmetrical and can help when my opponent gets ahead. Also, Overburden puts in major work due to the low creature count
I have plenty of Deck manipulation like Brainstorm and filtering like Monastery Siege to find my STAX answers quick and find answers (counters, removals, wraths) when I need them.

And once I'm ahead of my opponent or they're stuck in a STAX lock I have big burly creatures such as Sun Titan and Iona, Shield of Emeria to finish the Job

Possible Improvements

I need Flooded Strand and all of the off colored fetches like Windswept Heath for the shuffle to go with my Brainstorm effects

Thinking about taking out Hokori, Dust Drinker and World Queller and putting in Cursed Totem and Mana Web because they are less mama intensive and less vulnerable to removal being artifacts instead of creatures. (I love World Queller but 5 mana is a lot!)

Tangle Wire would be a nice addition, although I'm not sure what to cut (possibly Impulse?)

Possibly add Pacification Array (as a redundant combo piece that works like Icy Manipulator)

Consecrated Sphinx is awesome, but he's too rich for my blood. Maybe for Christmas lmao
