This is my B/R sacrifice deck. It can be fairly mean, but it tends to be closer to a strong, casual deck than a competitive powerhouse. I fell in love with it because it seems to be a triple threat deck. Need a small game aggro strategy to end a game fast? This deck can flood the board and turn dudes sideways. Need a creature control strategy? Land a Grave Pact effect, and thin the herd. Neither of those strategies are going to work for you? You have a few infinite combos you can fall on, if you need to finesse your way into a win.

Here are the two infinite combos: Mikaeus and Murderous Redcap and any no mana sac outlet means infinite damage toward opponents. The +1/+1 counter on Mikeaus' given Undying supercedes the -1/-1 counter from the Redcap's natural Persist, and you nuke the board one shock at a time. The deck can also make infinite mana/ creatures with any of the creatures that make multiple tokens, Ashnod's Altar, and Nim Deathmantle. Have the Deathmantle out, and play a dude who comes into play with multiple tokens, say Siege-gang Commander. You can sac the parent creature and at least one dude to the Ashod's Altar, triggering the Deathmantle to recur the creature card with the colorless Ashnod's Mana. You can use the left over token(s) to make more mana, fuel a huge Spawning pit, or accrue them to have a massive token army.

There's a lot to like in this deck for anybody who plays EDH. It plays with the best of the recurring graveyard cog dudes for a lot value, but has multiple token makers so it can be resilient to graveyard hate. It has all-around good cards, Kalitas/ K-Command, as well as synergistic selections, Basillisk Collar/ Act of Agression. What is the most fun about the deck is that you doing a lot of effects every time you play it. There's a ton of interactions and decisions to be made each turn. It can play well in any play group with a bit of tweaking. It could have tutors out the wazoo, but it doesn't so it can fly under the radar in more casual circles. It could have guild gates and Darksteel Ingots for mana fixing, but that Badlands doesn't need to be sitting around my house being lazy.

This deck has been with me for a couple of years after an attempt an ill-informed Malefegor deck. I realized I loved the three-drop legend from Ravnica block in the 99, and she became the commander after only a few plays. I never needed to give into the Meren hype, because this deck scratched that itch for me. Give her a try. You'll love throwing little dudes under the bus to draw more and more cards.
