Each and Every Voice Shall be Heard...

Every vote shall be counted! Each individual will be involved! Together, we can do anything...

This is my Esper Politics/Voting Commander Deck, with a secondary focus on artifacts. Ever since I saw the Esper Secondary commander from the deck in Streets of New Capenna, I knew I had to build him. For a long time, Politics/Voting has been something I've wanted to build, but never really got around to it. Plus, there wasn't really an option I was excited for.. Until now... Now, I've got a true way to build it.

With an artifact sub-theme, your goal is your commander. He give you an extra voice in your benevolent votes, and generates a combination of card draw and mana. Use these to cast more spells and host more votes for the table as the game progesses. Utilize your artifacts and their synergies to increase your political power. Make deals, aid your allies and doom your foes. Remember, its a democracy, so... EVERY VOTE MATTERS!

Easily, the most powerful cards in the deck are Clock of Omens and Academy Manufactor. The former allows you to tap two clues to untap Gilded Lotus or other silly things like that. And the latter lets your votes give you 5 clues, 5 treasures, and 5 foods.

So, Here it is. And remember: Your vote matters! (Until it doesn't)

Let me know your thoughts, and please feel free to voice any recommendations for the deck. Cards I should switch out? Other cool Poltics/choice-based cards I don't have here? Let me know, and I'll definitly consider them. Thanks!

So, here are some of my other decks you could take a look at, if you liked this one:

  1. The OG deck of mine, a mono-red Chandra-Tribal deck containing each and every Chandra printed(even the bad ones). It's one of my favorites: Chandra Tribal (Everyone's Here!)

  2. Another fun deck and another favorite of mine with a silly gimmick, it's my Energy Deck. One day, there will be a dedicated Energy Commander. Until that day, Atraxa will have to suffice. Unlimited Power (Energy Theme)

  3. Just like #2, this is another gimmick deck of mine. Based around the Street Fighter Secret Lair; I thought to myself "What if I used the secret lair cards as the only creatures in the deck?". And so, that thought became reality: Ultimate Street Fighter 6: Super Tabletop Edition

  4. Do you enjoy playing Magic? Do your friends and/or enemies have cool and interesting decks that they play? Well, what if you could do what they do, but better?! No, this isn't a Stealing deck, it's a clone/copy deck. Anything you can do, I can do better!

  5. Finally, if you want more, simply check out my profile for other decks. I also have a folder for my personal, physically built decks. AwesomeJMS5

As a final note, I will not be adding Time Sieve to the deck. I feel that it's an unfair 2-card combo with my Commander, Tivit, Seller of Secrets. In a 4-player game, if no one has an answer and/or interaction, I'll likely be taking infinite turns. It's too easy to pull off within the first couple of turns of the game.
