This is a group hug/slug deck. The basic strategy is to use some combat tricks and enchantments to keep Xantcha alive, and burn down opponents (ideally without being so annoying that the whole table immediately turns on you).

I want to encourage other players to activate Xantcha's ability to drain the controller, without leaning too heavily into discard. Ideally with more effects like Citadel of Pain which encourage players to use all their mana.
