... you like to have an answer to every game plan your enemies might come up with.
... you like playing with evasive creatures with flying or unblockbable.
... you like interactive playstyle and being patient.
... you like your playgroup tellin you that your deck is too strong.

This deck isnt for you, if...
... you like attacking with big fatties.
... you like a simple straight forward gameplan.
... you don´t want to think alot about your best options.
... aren´t patient.
... don´t like your playgroup grouping up against you.

The way of a ninja (playstyle) Show

Most of the time you end up hitting everyone´s life total since turn 2, which will make you a big target to all your enemies.
Try to be political as often as you can, to minimize the hate against you.

Here is a very important part of playing with this deck:

Your playgroup needs to fear your ninja network and your ninja skills!!!
Do everything for making your playgroup fear the cards in your hand!
This is even more important while starting to play this deck. Try to make your playgroup regret every single move
they do against you! If they attack you with a big threat, answer with a removal!
If they try to mess with your board, COUNTER!
You will soon realize that your playgroup will become to fear you and most of the time stop annoy you because they think you can handle it anyway, so why try? And they are so right about that! muhahaha

You need to learn how to play patiently and interactively...
Try to know the key pieces of your playgroups decks to counter the biggest threats on the table.
This will take some time, but you are a ninja anyways... you know how to wait the right moment to kill your target!
Don´t waste your spells on stuff, that´s not directly interfering with your strategy. Stay patient! Stay focused!

This deck is just such fun to play! This was my very first EDH Deck and i evolved it here and there, trying to get rid of its weaknesses and build it as an allrounder. Because that´s what ninjas do: Being prepared in every situation.

Upgrade suggestions Show

If you want to upgrade it, the first things i would add are: Mana Drain, Force of Negation and Pact of Negation. I don´t play them yet, because i want the space for improvement, if needed.


The Maybe-board includes new cards i dont know what to take out for yet. Will be updating this as soon as i know.
