Here is my spin on the Selvala, Explorer Returned deck. The deck is pretty straight forward; untap Selvala as much as possible.

You might be sitting there and wondering, "Okay, so what? You draw and stuff, gain a bit of life, and get some mana, but how do you WIN?"

Good question! Since we will be abusing Selvalas ability, everyone will be drawing. And drawing. And drawing. Until either you run out of fuel, or your opponents deck out. Alternate win cons are the lovely Aetherflux Reservoir (easy to use as you're gaining so much life) or Psychosis Crawler (drawing more then half your deck in a turn). If you're lucky you can swing at an open field with a nice amount of Commander Damage from Umbral Mantle.

So you might still not be convinced, sitting there in your chair with a skeptical grin, scoffing at the idea that such a deck is even functional. Well Sir (or Madam), the deck DOES work. How effective it is, is really up to luck, your analysis prowess, and how many players are...uh....playing.

This deck really shines at 6+ players, as Selvala seems to generate an average of 4 to 5 mana per tap, creating a vicious cycle of torment for your opponents since your turn just refuses to end. Next thing you know, your life total is sitting at 200 and its only turn 3. Ain't that just peachy?

Keycards to get out as quickly as possible is definitely Umbral Mantle, Paradox Engine, or Sword of the Paruns. We also need to protect our commander, so giving her Hexproof (Swiftfoot Boots, Alpha Authority) and Indestructible (Darksteel Plate, Shield of the Oversoul) is vital! Last but not least, Grand Abolisher to lock people out while we get started on our shenanigans. Having out Seedborn Muse or Quest for Renewal allows us to continue being silly as our opponents attempt to have a turn. Oh sure they'll probably complain, and whine into their 50 card hands but that's the price of getting free things from our commander.

The deck at its current stage is functional, and at times can be explosively effective. But I feel it can do better! I'm looking for any suggestions you guys got!
