This deck was based around imprinting Ring of Ma'ruf onto Prototype Portal. Once you have infinite mana via Composite Golem and Nim Deathmantle, you can use Dross Scorpion to keep untaping the portal when the golem is sacked, then use Staff of Domination to effectively draw infinite cards, but instead of decking out, activate Ring of Ma'ruf to play any card you own outside the game. While playing cards from outside the game in EDH may not be legal, if your pod is ok with it then go for it.

Beyond this combo, the deck generally wants to build a board of small artifacts to utalize Saheeli's second ability and play large threats for very cheap. Then with cards like Masterful Replication or Saheeli's Artistry + Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, allow your board of 1/1 thopters to become massive threats and close the game out.
