Well, introductions made, let's get to the deck!

About the deck

As you should have guessed by now, this is a fight themed deck.

As my playgroup evolved, we started to go less and less for combat damage, going instead for different kind of win-con, myself included.

Having this in mind, i decided to build a deck where the only win-con is combat damage and without any infinite interactions.

I chose Rhonas Tyson as my commander for some reasons:

• In conjunction with fight effects, Rhonas Jones Jr becomes a creature removal, which is a area that green struggles with;

• I needed a "not that strong" commander, so the deck would remain casual enough (Selvala, Yisan, Omnath are great, but too easily breakable); Having in mind he is the freakin' GOD OF STRENGHT, calling Rhonas Lomachenko not that strong isn't exactly correct

• I really started playing during the Khans block with a Temur deck, so fight effects are very appealing to me, which leads to Rhonas Maywheater being an obvious commander choice.

Needs and nots

Well, the deck obviously needs a lot of improvement.

I'll start by stating that i'll upgrade this deck slowly, having the starting budget around 150$.

Needs

• Speed: Maybe add some 1-drop dorks? I think they could replace Cultivate and Kodama's Reach, enabling a T2 Rhonas Alvarez. Also a copy of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx if i come by one.

• Card draw: I have a good(?) number of ways to draw cards in the deck, but seem to get stuck a lot. Cards that come to mind are Elemental Bond, Primordial Sage and Garruk's Packleader. I'll add Hunter's Insight as soon i find a copy to buy.

• Strategy Hate: Not something that i want to focus on, but is needed. Will be getting a Krosan Grip as soon as i can. Loaming Shaman and Relic of Progenitus might make an appearance on the deck too.

• Finishers: Splashy things and good pumps to the team. Also big boys like Ghalta, Primal Hunger.

Nots

What i'll refrain from putting into the deck.

• Infect: Triumph of the Hordes wins are just "too easy" and i don't find them cool enough (just my 2 cents);

• Infinite combos;

• Oppressive things: Rhonas Pacquiao likes to play it fair and give opponents a chance, so no Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger or similar things;

• Expensive things: The deck will be budget, so Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Gaea's Cradle and even Tooth and Nail are out of question.
