Ghosts... Phantoms of the past... Tears rich with blood poured out across rock and metal as far as the eye could see.

Metal. The cold, calculated, beating heart of the machine, now so still.

Nahiri recoiled in alarm as he hand grazed it. Not because she hated it, but because she loved it.

The machine. So pure, unwavering, beautiful... No!

Still, the seduction of it was overwhelming. What she'd been a part of. Without it, she felt lost, alone, purposeless.

Now. Now she bore the scars of the machine. Memories flickered through her mind taunting her with images of what they'd done... what she... had done...

Ghosts and phantoms... Just ghosts and phantoms... Scarred, and broken, reflecting the devastation of the Plane that had scarred her.

Mirrodin.

Raised, twisted, mutilated, reforged into nightmare, dead.

No... not dead. Alive still. The metal bore memories now. Harsh and violent, alluring...

Just Ghosts and phantoms now...

Alive, but no longer living.

Nahiri of Zendikar

Previously I've only played Nahiri, the Lithomancer and Kaalia of the Vast, but with the release of Aftermath, and Nahiri, Forged in Fury, I can finally tap into pure Boros colors and make a Commander deck with her at the helm. I'm super excited. I hope you are too. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the deck.
A majority of the deck focuses on cheating out Living Equipment. That is anything like "Living Weapon", "For Mirrodin!", or "Artifact Creature - Equipment". It's a mix between artifact equipment and tokens as it's main goal. Plenty of jank to be sure, but hopefully it'll result in a fun and engaging experience. Not too focused on competitiveness, but it is still a pretty broken mechanic, so we'll just see how it does and decide from there.

Cards of Note:

Teleportation Circle used primarily to flicker equipment that has lost it's token create in order to revive it. Also good for re-triggering several ETBs of regular creatures in the deck like Astor, Bearer of Blades, Sun Titan, Stoneforge Mystic, untapping artifacts like Scroll Rack, Sol Ring, etc.

Aggravated Assault + Sword of Feast and Famine Great infinite combat phases.

Aggravated Assault + Neheb, the Eternal Possible backup method of triggering infinite combat phases.

Helm of the Host + Restoration Specialist great for cranking out a couple tokens for better utilization of Restoration Specialist. If the attack doesn't go through, then I'd just sacrifice it to recur an artifact anyway.

Divine Visitation I have plenty of things in the deck that generate tokens, but who wouldn't prefer their Living Weapons to enter attached to 4/4 Flying Vigilance Angels instead of a 0/0 germ? Seems like an easy decision to me. Might as well.
