Karn, Silver Golem is a very unassuming general to somebody who has either never played against him or doesn't know any of his combos beyond Mycosynth Lattice. He acts as an enabler for infinite mana, land destruction and win condition with a bunch of high cost artifacts. He is also very resilient as most people will not run artifact hate that can kill your entire board. Your biggest fear as the pilot of this deck is Merciless Eviction as it can get around darksteel forge and will basically kill you late in the game. With all this in mind, let's move onto the explanation.

Karn, Silver Golem + Mycosynth Lattice : The most well known combo in the deck and will allow you to kill everybody's lands as long as you have the mana for it.

Karn, Silver Golem + Voltaic Construct : This combo plus any rock that produces 3 or more mana will allow you to produce infinite mana.

Smokestack + Sundial of the Infinite : Add a counter to Smokestack then end your turn while the second ability is on the stack and you don't have to sac anything while everybody else still has to.

Spine of Ish Sah + Trading Post : Draw engine that also allows you to recur the destruction ability of the spine.

Metalworker + Staff of Domination : As long as you have enough artifacts in your hand to net one mana, you will have infinite mana to draw your deck with.

Stuffy Doll + Pariah's Shield : You take no damage and the player of your choice takes all the damage that would be dealt to you.

Krark-Clan Ironworks + Spine of Ish Sah : Generate mana and recur the spine which you can then cast at a reduced cost.

Now to look at how you turn all these combos into a win.

Blightsteel Colossus: Use him to slowly beat your opponents to death or to kill them in one hit after they lost everything.

Myr Battlesphere : Same idea as before except you may have to hit them more than once.

Prototype Portal: Put a fatty under this and use Clock of Omens to create as many tokens as you can in one turn.

Karn, Silver Golem: Turn all your artifacts into creatures and swing.

Tested against a myr combo deck, mono black control and gisela angel tribal. The deck either combo'd off with infinite mana or slowed the game down so much that the other players conceded. Seems to work well in 1v1 as long as you can keep a fast pace.
