Just cataloging my Mono Black EDH deck.

Very much a ramp deck looking to leverage the mana capabilities between Cabal Coffers, Vesuva, Urborg, and Deserted Temple to make big plays. Killing someone with a pumped Drana or the table with a large Exsanguinate is inevitable. Even without Coffers, you want to use Nirkana Revenant/Bubbling Muk/Crypt Ghast to kick Sadistic Sacrament to cripple the biggest combo threat as early as possible. If you can keep the board clear with your various wipes getting Liliana of the Dark Realms emblem is another route. I should really put more Swamps in to be honest... I try to avoid combos but two exist in the deck and Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond can be easily slotted in as well. That said I often play with very competitive friends which is why the combos and the combo removal exist at all.
