General Idea

This deck grinds 'em out by getting incremental value out of her ability with eggs while keeping the opponents behind with stax effects like Tangle Wire , Winter Orb , Smokestack , etc. To keep the board clear, Glissa recurs Executioner's Capsule and does stupid things with Thornbite Staff .

As for actually winning the game, once you have the board under control you do something like Metalworker / Cogwork Assembler / 4+ artifacts in hand. That's the easiest and fastest combo - with 50+ artifacts in deck and Glissa's ability getting 4+ artifacts in hand is extremely easy. It also runs Rings of Brighthearth / Basalt Monolith and dumps that infinite mana into Cogwork Assembler or Walking Ballista or Goblin Cannon . Then there's more complicated stuff like Nim Deathmantle / Wurmcoil Engine / Krark-Clan Ironworks .

Questionable cards -

Maybe add -

  • Bontu's Last Reckoning - Cheap wrath, maybe not such a huge downside with all of our mana rocks

  • Grave Titan - redundant combo piece for the Nim Deathmantle combo, also generates a ton of value by itself

  • Ashnod's Altar - again, a redundant combo piece, but unlike Grave Titan I'm unsure of how much value it adds by itself

  • Marionette Master - Instant win with Ashnod's Altar / Nim Deathmantle, also generates a ton of life loss over the course of the game from all of the artifacts you're sacrificing.

  • Aligned Hedron Network - Deck doesn't have another way to deal with indestructible things)

  • Lightning Greaves - Honestly I thought at one point that this was in the deck. Allows Metalworker / Cogwork Assembler to go off on the turn of.
