My first Commander deck.

The idea behind this deck couldn't be simpler: ramp, then play big things that trample. It was initially inspired by Liege of the Tangle, and Stonebrow, Krosan Hero was suggested as a good first commander. I would agree; the deck was easy to make, and performs moderately successfully. It, like most of my early decks, could do with more removal, but as it stands it has a number of answers (though mostly for problematic artifacts and enchantments).

~~~~EDIT:After much debate, I've finally removed Liege of the Tangle, replacing it with Dragonlord Atarka. I have a plan for the elemental, but this deck just doesn't seem like the best fit for it anymore.

EDIT:I'm trying out Signal the Clans; I'm not sure if I'll like it, but there's one way to find out. I cut Chaosphere for it, since that ability is fairly redundant in the deck now.

EDIT: Jan 2018I'm thinking I may need to revisit this deck. It's been a while since I've tweaked it, and I think I should have a lot more mana ramp.While not a great plan, I am cutting Beast Within for Rishkar's Expertise; I need the Beast Within for a different deck, and I've been meaning to add Rishkar's Expertise since it got printed. Odds are good Beast Within will come back, but for now it will be better served elsewhere.
