Primeval Titan + Ulvenwald Hydra is always fun together. Sakura-Tribe Elder and Xenagos, the Reveler are great rampers to consider. As finishers and effective usage of gruuls million mana in endgame could be Savageborn Hydra and/or Apocalypse Hydra , with the latter doing crazy pings over defense.

Moonveil Dragon can be heavily abused. I can't think of a lot of gruul activated abilities matter creatures..but if you can divine up some more..the instant speed plays of abilities with doubled mana will serve you well.

Mina and Denn, Wildborn and Wayward Swordtooth push both your strategies and don't cost an arm and a leg like Azusa and oracle.

Savageborn Hydra being able to dump mana into this and swing can delete someone without blockers or just trample on through if you have a fieldwide trample effect

If I may, I would suggest putting in Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic to keep your curve down and help with the ramp as you try to fish for more lands early on. Borderland Ranger is another good budget option that can get you more lands early. Journey of Discovery is a fantastic sorcery for land ramp. Depending on your group's meta, Runic Armasaur might be another cheap option for card draw. I see you have some hydras lined up as possibilities, Mistcutter Hydra is a fantastic card against control decks that run blue and Savageborn Hydra will be absolutely titanic if it hits the field! Polukranos, World Eater is another fun hydra that fights opponents creatures when you make it monstrous.

I don't think you should discount having other enchantments either since Nikya tries to discourage that. Zendikar Resurgent has dipped in price and having good card draw on top of ramp can be a win-win.

It would be good for you to have some redundancy for making your creatures uncounterable. Prowling Serpopard and Spellbreaker Behemoth are both good options and Vexing Shusher if you want to spend extra. Adding something to give creatures haste from the get go is also nice to have outside of your Rhythm of the Wild. Anger is just a solid option at about 50 cents and Urabrask the Hidden does that and then some, too.

These are just some of my thoughts as a fellow G/R player. I honestly love Nikya and seeing someone putting a deck together is exciting! Hope some of the suggestions get you on the track you want, whether you take them or not.

All of the cards above are going out of the deck in favor of the stuff belowe

I like some of the suggestions that you have made, i cant look through them all right now but at the same time some of the ones that you feel should be taken out are some that i feel make the core of the deck such as

for the sheere fun of slaming down a 20/20 Hydra in the late game and there flexibility in the early/mid game. I will continue working with the suggestions that i have gotten for you tommorow and will take them into consider and i hope that i have put in a fair point about the hydras for you

More creatures with x in their cost. Creatures with monstrosity. Heroes' Bane. Some more landfall triggers. Maybe play some spells that make your lands into creatures. Nylea, God of the Hunt. Savageborn Hydra. Cards that have activated abilities that you can pay multiple times in one turn like a dragon with fire breathing like Scourge of Valkas or the above mentioned Nylea. Maybe ditch a couple lands for a Gruul Signet and a Gruul Locket so you can use the mana early and card draw later. I always include Mirage Mirror in all my edh decks. It's so versatile. Make it a copy of Scourge of Valkas and pump it up with all that extra mana. Or make it a copy of Marit Lage and block some big beater. I'm just sayin

itachi45 I had Savageborn Hydra in the deck but decided to change it out for some more ramp cards, Savageborn takes time and a lot of mana to build up to a high DP, where I've never really thought about using Kalonian Hydra Which cards would you suggest switching out for it??
