Maybeboard

Refining the list to be more competitive, any suggestions are appreciated! I've been brewing with Siona since she released and haven't found anything else that has come close to mentioning the potential and possibilities with her. This is my best shot at compiling what I've come up with.

The goal is to make infinite tokens and attack for the win. Alternative win condition is to mill with Altar of the Brood/Altar of Dementia or damage with Blasting Station

We make infinite 1/1s with:

Damage

Haste

Mill

Infinite* Mana (+ all the auras in your deck by sacrificing and recasting Siona)

  • Phyrexian Altar (requires different deck construction with creature buffing auras. probably more of a casual deck hence why it's omitted from the Mainboard)

Reins of the Vinesteed which, in addition to a sac outlet, can effectively replace Shielded by Faith.

Reins of the Vinesteed + a Sac outlet can give infinite enter the battlefield and leave the battlefield triggers. This can work with the any of the following sac outlets: Altar of Dementia, Blasting Station, Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar

**Important Note: this loop doesn't net you more soldier token than you already have because you have to sacrifice one each time to activate Reins of the Vinesteed. HOWEVER, use of a token doubler like Parallel Lives or Doubling Season does give us infinite tokens. Because a token doubler is yet ANOTHER piece for this to work to its full potential, I've chosen to omit them in favor of other less janky avenues for infinite tokens through Presence of Gond or Squirrel Nest combos.

The "infinite" Mana achieved by the Phyrexian Altar combo payoff isn't infinite anymore once you choose to stop the loop. Once you choose to end the Shielded by Faith loop, you'll need another Soldier ETB for it to start again therefore giving you access to infinite mana again. Using Siona's ETB to dig for all the auras isn't deterministic and relies on random chance. That is to say, you could THEORETICALLY use Siona to dig 10000000+ times and as long as your deck has at least 7 non-aura cards, it's POSSIBLE to never hit any auras. Your playgroup may allow you to shortcut this and grab all the auras because this is extremely unlikely but keep this in mind in a tournament setting if people ask you to play it out. (or just don't bother with it at all since you'll need to fill the deck with auras to buff creatures that will otherwise not help much)

Appreciate any feedback on the list! (or rules/interaction help if I've made any mistakes on that front) :)
