Ramos, Dragon Engine excited me as soon as I read it. A five color commander that can be cast for colorless mana? AND it's a valid place to launch counter/token strategies from? There is a LOT of design space around Ramos, however, and it makes him tricky to build around.

My deck will definitely be focusing on the White, Green and Blue and will be giving Black and Red a more casual acknowledgement. Most of the best counter effects are in Selesnya, whereas most of the best tricks for counters are in Simic. While Black gives me some amazing ways to use Counters as a resources, it's the least vital color for this build. Granted, stuff like Retribution of the Ancients , Corpsejack Menace, and Winding Constrictor are high picks for this type of strategy? They're also not ones with prohibitive Black mana requirements. Red is definiately the least useful color....but access to it allows me to use things that could break the game Marchesa, the Black Rose and Haze of Rage , as well as cheap, multi-color removal spells in Hull Breach and Terminate

What's included below is basically a running list of the things I know I have and want to put into the deck or are at least strongly being considered for the deck.
