Lettuce play some Meme-March!

-PRIMER IS A WORK IN PROGRESS- but please don't allow that to deter you from assisting me...

This is my FIRST attempt at a primer and a possibly competitive EDH/Commander deck with my favorite card types, Artifacts! This build mainly plans to abuse Memnarch's abilities but never really steal everything with it, but it has many other game-changers which I will highlight later and not cover Memnarch's abilities because I believe that it has been explained and extended upon many times before. This build is also partially control based to guarantee you are safe as you prepare you wombo-combos!

Under ideal conditions or close to them this deck is able to resolve a game changing combo around turns 4-8 which in my opinion is pretty good... but what do I know, I'm new to EDH/Commander

I think this deck can be rather competitive and I would love to hear back from all of you to help keep this deck <$500 (I know its not much for EDH in terms of budget but I am a high schooler saving for college so MTG is not where all my cash needs to go) yet still able to hold up against middle tier or better decks, and combos off on any of its ways really fast. Overall I'm not really looking to make a super competitive EDH/Commander but more like a 75% strength deck that does well at LGS's

I would also like to know if anyone thinks that this would be able to hold up at their LGS for multiplayer games so I can better locate and correct the deck's weaknesses.

To start off it is more of a synergy but with Metalworker and Paradox Engine and artifacts in hand and card draw on the field ( Book of Rass ) one can go pseudo-infinite on casting almost your whole deck and all your artifacts, made better by the use of a mana filter such as Mana Cylix or Gemstone Array . Its really janky and requires some luck but casting most of your deck is very possible, this also creates a ton of extra colorless mana that can be used on other things when you want to stop.

This deck really revolves around Karn as much as Memnarch so tutoring him up is rather important.

Karn, Silver Golem + Mycosynth Lattice = Pay to blow up a land (see the above bullet point) OR turn an aura into a creature destroying it.

Karn, Silver Golem + Nim Deathmantle = Pseudo-regeneration for any of your non-creature artifacts

Karn, Silver Golem + Voltaic Construct = When combined with a later mentioned infinite mana combo things can quickly get out of hand, mostly through the use of portal to tutor tons of cards!

Infinte Mana Combos

Grand Architect + Pili-Pala = infinite blue mana

Krark-Clan Ironworks + Nim Deathmantle + Wurmcoil Engine = When you sacrifice Wurmcoil to Ironworks, both it and Deathmantle's abilities go on the stack simultaneously. Choose to resolve Wurmcoil's ability first to get the tokens, then sac those to Ironworks as well. You can now pay the cost for Deathmantle's ability to get back Wurmcoil with a net gain of 4 Repeat this process to make (and get as many Wurm tokens as you want). A similar combo also exists with Myr Battlesphere in place of Wurmcoil

Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth = Tap Monolith for then go to untap it and copy that untap ability with Rings. Let the copied ability resolve and, while the original untap ability is still on the stack, use Monolith to generate more mana. The original untap ability now resolves and you are left with an untapped Monolith and floating. Since it only costs in total to go through this cycle, you are left with a net gain of each time, letting you generate

Karn, Silver Golem + Mana Vault + Voltaic Construct = Turn Vault into a creature for 1, tap it for 3, untap it for 2 with Construct, rinse and repeat for infinite mana. This also works with Basalt Monolith, Dreamstone Hedron , Grim Monolith , or Thran Dynamo

Metalworker + Voltaic Construct + 2 artifacts in hand = Reveal artifacts for 4, untap for 2, continue doing this for infinite mana

There are many things that can be done with this infinite mana- lets see if you can find them all!

Gotta give credit when credit is due, so special thanks to Bassospades and his Karn deck because I "borrowed" most of the combos from him, and it was just the right thing to let you all know that. All in all I am rather new to MTG and even newer to EDH so all these combos are really difficult to spot...I mean come on brain stop liking the new Standard "Afflict" mechanic, all it does is give your opponent more choices.

These are just a couple cards that I like and really added some depth to the deck

Skyship Weatherlight: Sometimes tutoring up the good ol' Weatherlight and then using it to tutor 12 cards can be risky yet effective. Especially if you resolve a Darksteel Forge first to protect against removal, because if Weatherlight is destroyed or even exiled all cards exiled with it stay exiled!

In my opinion this deck has several consistent ways to win which include:

Karn, Silver Golem + Akroma's Memorial and animating all your artifacts, including some stolen with Memnarch and using them to "beat down" upon your opponent.

Upgrades: (These cards probably make the deck more cohesive but I am in High School and MTG is an expensive hobby)

Grim Monolith

Mox Opal

Force of Will

Mana Drain

Pact of Negation

Over all I really think that this deck can become something that could really hold its own at an LGS, and I would love to hear all opinion on what should be fixed. Once again thank you very much... and maybe leave an upvote so others can learn of the greatness that is MEME-MARCH???

P.S when suggesting things please suggest what should be replaced with what because I see many decks where people comment and suggest things and the creator doesn't know what to replace so they do nothing to save themselves some time. I do not want to be like that and I will take all suggestions into consideration. Thanks!
