This is one of my oldest decks, a tribute to the origins of EDH. If you notice, Nicol B is relaxing and reading a book. My deck has found tons of book themed cards, there are more but these have synergies that play toward a mass reanimate win or through dragons doing what they do best.

The best three cards for Nicol B are Dragon Tempest, Sarkhan the Mad and Scourge of Valkas. All have the dragon deal the damage enabling Nicol B who needs to deal damage, not combat damage, to have a player discard their hand.
