I was playing a standard Narset deck when she was legal in that format, and really like her ability. I thought I would build an EDH deck around her. I started off just wanting to flip and cast 4 cards per turn, and it turned out way more powerful than I had anticipated.

Although Narset can be built to take multiple turns, counter other players spells, and end up playing basically a solo game, I wanted to build something that was more fun for me to play, rather than be super competitive.

My version of Narset hopefully stays alive until turn 5, where I can get Narset on the table, then either give her haste, or protection, and start swinging in with her to activate her ability of flipping 4 cards and casting them for free. Now with 18 Planeswalkers, the point is to go crazy with Planeswalkers. Usually, if you get 4 or 5 on the table, its really hard for opponents to deal with all of them, so you actaully get to build up their loyalty counters to do fun stuff with them, and use their ultimates at times, which is typically not so common in commander.

The extra combat step cards, plus the ability to double her triggered ability, is simply there to capitalize on her ability to flip more cards. Then, the cards which impact top deck manipulation increases the likelihood that you will flip cards you want to cast, instead of flipping all lands that get exiled.

Overall, this deck is fun to play, especially considering that there is only one creature in the deck. Its unique and totally different from all of my other decks, and shows off a variety of Planeswalkers.

Played this deck last week, and she went off like crazy. Good times!
