When I first saw Leovold, Emissary of Trest, I thought his only purpose would be to prevent the Monarch from drawing cards in Conspiracy Draft. But then I realized that he also works with Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and more.

What I Play

Cards:

These cards are cards that give everyone cards. From Anvil of Bogardan to Windfall, these are what make my opponents hate me. Normally, everyone would get lots of cards. But in this deck, only I get cards. Without these, not only would this deck be only 63 cards, but also it would be missing the core part of it working.

Mana:

These cards are what let me get my commander turn 2 and let me be drawing 5 cards a turn on turn 5. From small amounts of mana such as Llanowar Elves to lardge amounts of mana from Priest of Titania, they can make anything possible in this deck.

Utility:

I put these cards under Utility because they had extra abilities and I didn't know where to put them. They can be tutoring/semi-tutoring (Archmage Ascension and Abundance), or no hand limit (Spellbook, Reliquary Tower, and Venser's Journal), or even land destruction (Strip Mine and Wasteland).

Win

These cards (suprise, suprise) help me win the game. Chasm Skulker, Psychosis Crawler, and Sturmgeist just kill the opponent by damage, and Jace Beleren, Jace's Erasure, Psychic Spiral, and Sphinx's Tutelage kill by mill, but most of the others need a lockdown combo.

Combos

Leovold, Emissary of Trest + Venser's Journal + Zur's Weirding + 6 cards in hand: Against three opponents, you gain 6 life on your turn, and you pay 2 life on each opponents turn to prevent them from drawing cards. Add in Words of Waste to make sure they don't have a hand to draw into in the first place.

Anvil of Bogardan + Leovold, Emissary of Trest : Draw a card, discard a card. Repeat for all eternity.

Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Notion Thief + Words of Waste + Howling Mine: They draw a card with Howling Mine. Then, when they would draw a card because it's their draw step, they skip the draw because of Notion Thief. Using Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Words of Waste , you prevent them from ever getting to play the card they drew by making them discard it immediatly.
