Sorcery (1)

Enchantment (1)

Creature (1)

Once I saw Kestia spoiled, I knew I had to build her, and what better way to do it than with big indestructible enchantment gods?

Kestia, the Cultivator is one of the strongest commanders to come out of Commander 2018 for several reasons:

  1. She counts herself with her own on attack ability to draw cards

  2. Bestow is a really strong ablity to have on a commander: if she enchants a creature, and that creature dies, she falls off and becomes a creature herself!

  3. Her ability is an attack trigger instead of a combat damage trigger, so it is harder to disrupt.

The main goal is to attack with a lot of creatures, draw into all of the good value cards like Bear Umbra and Kruphix, God of Horizons and to win through combat with all sorts of creatures your gods make, or with Triumph of the Hordes . It's also just fun to have 9 different gods on the battlefield at the same time (let's be honest, Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Zetalpa, Primal Dawn are basically Dinosaur gods).

You will like this deck if you like creature heavy, beat-em-up style decks that don't necessarily look for a combo, but focus mainly on synergy between cards.

You wouldn't like this deck if you want a combo heavy, control enchantress build.
