A simple Life Gain deck based on some cards I had in my cube. Holds up well against other decks, fun to play with. This is all about triggers triggers triggers. It's not the amount of life you gain, it's how often you gain it.

I had all the creatures that gave lifegain triggers on a creature ETB'ing, but I have removed a few to add cards that gave triggers from other conditions, to gotten a lot more value that way.

Neat Moves

{W} Ramp
Not much in these colours, Land Tax can make sure that you hit all your land drops.
Burnished Hart & 4 mana rocks help.

{W} Draw

Greed and Well of Lost Dreams are your main engines, worth tutoring with Demonic Tutor.
Ad Nauseam is great when you have the life to spend, and the deck's curve is fairly low.
Dawn of Hope is an awesome new draw spell.
Sorin, Grim Nemesis, Dark Confidant, Castle Locthwain and Twilight Prophet are incremental draw

{W} Tricks

Vizkopa Guildmage is a combo piece with many cards, note that you can pay for his second ability more than once! Doing it even once when you cast Exsanguinate or Debt to the Deathless will finish the game.
Cast Exsanguinate for 5, opponents take 5, then you gain 15, then they lose 15. Sanguine Bond and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose will do the same for a single opponent.

There is some recursion with Sun Titan, Veinwitch Coven and Luminous Broodmoth

{W} Wincons

The main Wincon is to just drain your opponents away with too many triggers.
Other Wincons are:
Crested Sunmare can give you an army of Indestructible horses.
Aetherflux Reservoir should allow you to one-shot an opponent.

Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord would be decent for both his recursion and life gain.
Swords to Plowshares & Fracture are the next removal
Kaya's Wrath or Damn might be an improved wipe
Tricks ?: Revival / Revenge & Kaya's Guile
