I think I'm just dead here (Rafiq EDH)

Commander / EDH Aggro GWU (Bant) Voltron

This is my take on Rafiq of the Many. My opinion is that you shouldn't have to play creatures to get them dead if you can just do it more effeciently with your general. Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre is the only exception. Medomai the Ageless is pretty good with Rafiq of the Many on board as well. Who doesn't like putting two extra turns on the stack? The creatures I play in the deck are for utility and typically not going to be attacking. Noble Hierarch is the best mana dork possible for this style of deck. I'm playing only 3 swords due to availability. Sword of Light and Shadow is just bad though.

One of my favorite interactions in the deck is Darksteel Plate + Wrath of God.

Trygon Predator gets extra triggers with Rafiq of the Many.

Crucible of Worlds + Strip Mine is a popular EDH Combo that I'm not sure if I want in the deck. Strip Mine doesn't tap for mana. Crucible of Worlds however is insanely good, because it allows me to play less lands and just replay my Flooded Strand and Windswept Heath over and over.

My LGS has a rule that a player cannot win before turn 5, so that's why the deck isn't tuned to max potential. The deck does kill turn 5 pretty consistently though.

Please +1 and comment and let me know what you think! Give me your opinion! I'm always open to testing new things. I hope you like this deck!
