When Elenda, the Dusk Rose was first spoiled I fell in love. Her ability to generate value in both being a huge body or a massive swarm of tokens enticed me to build around her.

The elephant in the room is that Elenda has to die for her token generating ability to trigger, now this is a problem because we want to get multiple cast out of her and abuse her ability. To get around this there are several cards in the deck that are focused on getting her out of the graveyard. Bojuka Bog, Relic of Progenitus, Gift of Immortality, Reveillark, and Karmic Guide all work at either returning Elenda to the battlefield or exiling her from the graveyard so we can send her to the command zone.

Token generation is big in this deck and we want to get extra value out of sacraficing our army of creatures through cards like Zulaport Cutthroat and other similar cards.

Hatred is a game winning card because we can cast it with instant speed to swing in for lethal damage with Elenda- just to gain back all the life we spent, or use it to pump up Elenda's power to then sac her and get a ton of tokens!
