Well... it's a Werewolf Tribal deck in Commander. There's not much to it, honestly. It's some Werewolves, a handful of Wolves, mana, stuff to buff them, and a few answers to flyers. I left out a few Werewolf cards that I thought weren't effective enough for their mana cost to get a slot, but other than that, the ones that aren't trash are here.

The goal here is to have a fun, flavorful Werewolf deck that might occasionally win a game, but as long as I don't get hated off the board and no one combos out, I'll generally have fun. As a result of this "flavor over power" mentality, there are a few cards in this deck that earned their slot because of flavor; Wolf Pack is one such card. I know there are other cards out there that are better, and I know that Thorn Elemental is strictly better than Wolf Pack, but I don't care. I mean, Thorn Elemental isn't a Wolf no matter how long you stare at it. I even had people in my playgroup saying I should have Xenagos, God of Revels or Ruric Thar, the Unbowed as my commander, but they aren't Werewolves, so I'm not interested.

It's not really intended to be a budget deck, but it could be built on a smaller budget than Tappedout's value estimates suggest. I think you could put this deck together for under $175 if you wanted to by not foiling so many cards and maybe going a little cheaper on the land base. Wolf Pack is a rare and expensive card to acquire (my understanding is that it didn't get a very long printing run in English), so I consider it optional for anyone who wants to build this deck less expensively.

I had friends in my playgroup warning me about this deck, saying that Werewolf Tribal is hit or miss. That's fine with me; I live for the games when it's all hit and no miss. As of the time this description was written, this deck has not been constructed yet, but I look forward to using it (as long as I can keep track of all these double-sided cards).
