Ravager of the Fells Discussion

I think Silverfur Partisan should def be a 4 of since it synergizes so well with your creatures.

I think some of the enchantment are either unnecessary or can be upgraded to enchantments that synergize with your deck. I would drop the Blood Mist, Gruul War Chant, and Gift of Paradise for stuff like Howlpack Resurgence and Full Moon's Rise.

Naturalize is also probably pretty weak here and could be replaced. Creatures like Solitary Hunter  Flip, Brazen Wolves, Smoldering Werewolf  Flip, and Thornhide Wolves can be upgraded as well.

Here are some cards that are budget friendly I would find room for:

Immerwolf

Lightning Strike

Ulrich's Kindred

Howlpack Resurgence

Full Moon's Rise

Breakneck Rider  Flip/Neck Breaker  Flip

Duskwatch Recruiter/Krallenhorde Howler  Flip

Cult of the Waxing Moon

Instigator Gang/Wildblood Pack  Flip

For options that are above budget:

Huntmaster of the Fells/Ravager of the Fells  Flip

Mayor of Avabruck  Flip/Howlpack Alpha  Flip

Lightning Bolt

No. In any zone other than the battlefield, as of now, cards with transform cannot exist with their back face up. If a card with transform would change zones (i.e. go from the battlefield to the graveyard), it is transformed to its front face before For example, Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip cannot be a Ravager of the Fells while it is in the graveyard. So, you cannot imprint from your hand or your graveyard a werewolf that is transformed to its "moon" side.

Furthermore, even if you use Mimic Vat to copy Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip, it can never transform into Ravager of the Fells, since it is a token.

Actually, flip cards have a color indicater circle next to the super type. This represents the color of that side. This can best be seen on dual color cards like Ravager of the Fells.

Legally that avacyn is boros.

Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip, Ravager of the Fells  Flip, Werewolf Ransacker  Flip are all templated "this creature" and they are the only ones with transforms abilities.

Ravager of the Fells  Flip is my favorite because it was the only one with a dual color

Oh, don't get me wrong -- Smother is great, I've actually played as many as 2 in my mainboard before the Twin banning. I like the card a lot, but right now many threats cost more than 3 mana (mainly Tasigur and Edrazi dudes) and Condemn is both wider and cheaper than Smother. Smother is meh against Infect while Condemn may as well be Swords to Plowshares against them -- better than Path to Exile. Against Burn/Zoo, you can set up a T2 Condemn + Spell Snare blowout, but Smother isn't as efficient.

After the inevitable Drazi banning, I expect to see cards like Tasigur/Angler and Siege Rhino to pick back up, making Smother awkward. Plus, Smother doesn't hit Ravager of the Fells anymore. However, if Twin gets unbanned, then I'll most likely be running Smother instead.
