B/G Elves have always been my favorite to play, with Rhys the Exiled being my commander of choice. Maybe not the most competitive...but definitely the deck I connect to most, and that I keep trying to fine-tune.

Any help on this deck is very appreciated!

It's a mix of vampirism and elf-ball.

Combo-ing off with Vampires: Sanguine Bond / Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose + Exquisite Blood / Bloodthirsty Conqueror are the main lifegain win-cons.

Staff of Domination + any big-mana producing elves will combo out, too. Like Marwyn, the Nurturer, Elvish Archdruid, Wirewood Channeler, or Priest of Titania.

Ezuri, Renegade Leader with the big-mana elves, or Blossoming Bogbeast with extra lifegain boosts, can both be used to go wide and trample through with creatures.

And then there's always the Voltron option, of gearing up Rhys the Exiled with Aettir and Priwen and smashing face, with unblockable help from evasive tools like Brotherhood Regalia, or Trailblazer's Boots, etc.

Notable mentions for Rhys the Exiled's sac ability are Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel and Wirewood Herald + one of the recursion engines like Veinwitch Coven, Storrev, Devkarin Lich, etc.
