Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor is a fun Grixis commander who cares about curses, but secretly better built for...other things (I'll get to them later). Let's be clear here: curse tribal sucks. You put them all in, load people up, they hate you, you die. Many of the effects aren't enough to really slow your opponents down but will still garner their ire and Lynde's extra cards are refuelling you with nothing that helps. So where can we go? Some curses are still good, and Lynde does negate their biggest drawback in commander games so we'll be keeping enough to get the point across and hopefully draw some extra cards. That leaves room to start introducing some other themes, beginning with a certain number. Grixis can run almost all the MTG cards which care about the number thirteen, and I think they fit the flavour of "cheerful torment" and janky playstyle while providing actual win cons - something the average Lynde deck struggles with. Keeping this in mind I've also included some "deck yourself to win" options in Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, his creature buddies and good old Doomsday. Here this is not the primary strategy for the deck but just another card that can win a game, with the common cards for a Doomsday pile just happening to be cards I'd probably run anyway for their generic Grixis utility. Outside that we've got the usual 2CMC rocks, plenty of cantrips and control elements to keep our opponents in check while we try to assemble something...
