NEW DOMINARIA COMMANDER! My version of Torgaar, Famine Incarnate and the commander just screamed Pox, Dire Fleet Ravager, Smallpox, Death Cloud to me with its second ability. The best part of this commander is it can bring you back to your half life status. So spend all that life whenever you can then just bring yourself back to 20. Dont be afraid to use Necropotence, Toxic Deluge, Pain's Reward or Necrologia. Or bring your opponent down to 20 and give them a nice dose of Pox or Dire Fleet Ravager. Life gain decks dont stand a chance.
Torgaar, Famine Incarnate can be out on the board by turn 4 in this deck and im looking for ways to put him out faster. Dont be fooled by the mana cost, you will be paying 2 for him each time. But just in case you cant, Cabal Coffers has been added to ramp.
The strategy is to have board advantage with tokens and spells to kill off other creatures. This way you can get Torgaar out quickly or fodder for when Pox comes around. Add this to Grave Pact and their creature count should be pretty close to 0. Then keep swinging away.
Since this deck runs on low mana, card draw is a must to keep the train going. Spot removal is for creature that dont get sac'd as well as a few lands that work with Crucible of Worlds to keep your opponents land count on the lower side.
